About
The Millville Journal is a student-run publication covering markets, economics, and global trade for the Millville School community. We publish in discrete, numbered issues, in the spirit of the financial press we grew up reading over our parents’ shoulders — just scaled down, and written by and for students.
Our goal isn’t to give investment advice. It’s to build the habit of reading financial news critically: asking why a headline moved a stock, what a policy change actually does, and where the writer’s opinion ends and the facts begin.
Each issue includes original reporting on markets and geopolitics, a recurring opinion column from one of our editors, and a beginner-friendly explainer on one economics concept — because half the point of financial literacy is admitting what you don’t know yet.
